Grief and Loss
When someone we care about dies, or when a relationship changes or ends, our lives are forever changed. Grief affects us emotionally, physically and mentally. There is no right or normal way to grieve the loss of someone close to us. There is also no right amount of time to grieve. However, when grief continues to affect our ability to carry out day-to-day activities; if we begin to have trouble sleeping or experience increased health concerns; when our emotions become strong and unpredictable; or when we get to a point where we may need to take time off work, it is important to reach out for additional support.
